| Creating Batman logo |
| In this tutorial we'll create batman logo using basic shapes and vector shape modes etc. Lets start by creating a black ellipse shape using ellipse tool. |

| Duplicate the layer and transform using Ctrl+T. Scale this ellipse down a little bit. |

| Fill it with yellow color. |

| Duplicate yellow ellipse layer and scale down using Ctrl+T as done in previous step. |

| Fill this ellipse with black color. |

| Now we'll convert this innermost black ellipse to bat shape. Select ellipse tool and enable "subtract from shape area" from top panel. |

| Draw a vertical ellipse over black ellipse. this will cut a partial whole in black ellipse. |

| Select direct selection tool (A) ( use the black arrow tool not the holo arrow icon to select the whole ellipse ). Click on vertical ellipse to select all nodes together. Press Ctrl+T and rotate anticlockwise. Press enter to accept the transform. |

| Press Alt, click and drag the vertical ellipse to create a copy. |

| Shift+Click select both ellipses using direct selection tool. |

| Press Alt and click and drag to create copy of both. |

| Press Ctrl+T , right click and select flip horizontal. |

| Now with pen tool draw upper shape as shown. make sure "subtract from shape area" is still enbled. |

| Finish the path drawing by closing the path. |

| Here completes the batman logo. Well! almost. |
