Creating a Psychedelic logo

Start by creating a new file and filling the background with a solid flouroscent green color.

In a new layer type the name of disco "Disc-us".

Rotate the text a little bit.

Create a duplicate of this layer. Right click and select rasterize layer.
Enable preserve transparency for this layer.
Create a orange to yellow to orange gradient and fill in this layer.

From filter menu apply pixelate>>color halftone to this layer. Use settings as shown.

This is how it will look after applying color halftone. This filter adds beautiful pattern to our text.
Double click on this layer to open layer style window. Apply stroke, bevel & emboss and shadow using settings as shown.
Create a green to white gradient.
Draw a circular selection.
Press Ctrl+Alt+D to apply feather to selection. Enter a high radius settings.
Create a lyer below disc-us and apply the radial gradient in this circular selection.
To this layer apply filter>>pixelate>>color halftone. Use previous settings for color halftone..
Add byline "disco 'n' pub" in a new layer.
Apply a white stroke to "disco 'n' pub".
Our Disc-us logo is all set to boogie.
