Creating feather stroke edges on an image |
| Start by opening an image your choice. |

| Create a rectangular selection using rectangular marquee tool. |

| Press Q to enable quick mask. From filter menu select brush strokes>>sprayed strokes. Apply settings as shown. |

| Press Q again to disable quick mask. |

| Press Ctrl+J to copy paste the selection in a new layer. Select the original layer and hide it. |

| Ctrl+Click the copied layer thumbnail to get the selection. From select menu select modify>>contract. Contract the selection by 6 pixel. |

| Press Ctrl+J to copy paste the selection in a new layer. Hide the original layer to see border layer. |

| Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply settings as shown. |

| Unhide the layer hidden in previous step. |
