Creating and animating halloween pumpkin

Create a circle using elliptical shape tool. Press Ctrl+T. Right Click and select Warp. Adjust the nodes as shown.

Enable "subtract from shape area" at the top bar. Create a shape as shown using pen tool.
Similarly create nose and eyes.

Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply settings as shown.
From layer menu select layer style>>create layers. Select the drop shadow layer and erase the upper portion. Select and merge both the layers.

Using brush tool create stripes and other details on pumpkin.

Select the pumpkin layer. Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply settings as shown.

Create a circle for the eyeball using elliptical shape tool.
Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply settings as shown.
Create a rectangle using rectangular shape tool. Fill it with red color. Move this layer below all the layers in layer order in layer palette.
Duplicate the layer and change the fill color to brown.
Open animation window. For the first frame hide the colored rectangle layers. Disable the layer styles on the eye layers.

 
Duplicate frame. Unhide the brown rectangle layer and enable the eye layer style.
Duplicate the frame. Hide the first rectangle layer and unhide the red rectangle layer.
Press Ctrl+Alt+Shift+S to save an optimized animated GIF.
