| Lets create a dark gradient halo effect using lens correction filter. Though this is not the primary purpose of this filter but its a cool technique nevertheless. |
| 1. SETTING THE SOURCE |
For this kind of effect one should use an image where subject lies in the center of image. Like in the following image kids faces are almost in the center of image. |

| 2. LET's START |
| From filter menu select distort>>lens correction. |

| Lens correction options window will open. Disable show grid from the bottom of the window as we don't have to use grid in this example. |

| 3. SET THE VALUES |
| In lens correction window there is a vignette panel on left. Drag the amount slider to left. It will make the edges darker in a radial fashion. |

| Drag the midpoint slider towards right to highlight the subject. It will brighten the center point of the image. |

| 4. SAVE IT FOR A RAINY DAY |
| One can easily save these settings for future use. Click on small arrow on top right and select "Save settings". |

| Save it in a location with a name that you can recall easily. It will be saved with a .lcs extension. |

| 5. REUSING THE FILTER |
| Open any other image. |

| From filter menu select distort>>lens correction. Click on small arrow at top right. Select "Load Settings". Load the filter setting you saved in previous step. |
