In this tutorial we'll create a logo for an imaginary detective company "sharp eye". In the logo we'll create a magnifying glass effect. Start by creating a new file and type "sharpeye". |

Duplicate the "sharpeye" layer. Right ckick on this layer and click rasterize. |

| Using elliptical marquee tool create a circular selection over sharp eye. |

| From filter menu select distort>>spherize. |

| Use spherize settings as shown. |

| Create a new layer fill the selection with white to grey gradient. |

From layer pallete change the color mode to multiply and lower the opacity to 38%. |

| Double click on this layer to open layer style window. Apply stroke and bevel & emboss. Use settimgs as shown. |

| Create a new layer. Complete the handle using pen tool. |

| Select a gradient dark grey to light grey to dark grey. |
