| Start by typing your text. Right click the layer and rasterize the test. |

Select polygon lasso tool and create random shaped edgy selection. Press Ctrl+Shift+J to cut paste the selection in new layers. Repeat the steps till you split the whole text in many layers. Offset each layer by a few pixels in random directions. |

| Select and merge all the layers. Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply settings as shown. |

| From layer menu select layer style>>create layers. Select and merge all the resulting layers. Select dodge tool with settings shown. Apply strokes randomly over the text. |

| Select burn tool and apply strokes. |

| Keep applying both the tools alternately to get an effect as shown below. |

| Create random selection using lasso tool. Press Ctrl+J to copy paste the selection in new layer. |

| Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply settings as shown. |
